The “risk” associated with knowledge transfer is usually the result of witnessing or hearing of a colleague who suffered the consequences of presenting a solution upwards. Either way,  you must combat this cultural reality by removing all risk responses in your control when knowledge is presented to you. A “risk response” is one that reduces the likelihood that others will voice their views. Like it or not, your responses are registered with the Associate Culture and socialized in a nano-second.
